Northeastern University Men's Ultimate

Though we are now fully into the fall semester and season, it's never too late to join the team. If you are interested in playing ultimate, go to the prospective players page and join our mailing group. After that go check out the calendar tab for the time and location of our next practice. Unless otherwise noted, practices are open to all players of all abilities and all you need to do is show up. Hope to see you out on the field!

The Gentlemen's Club Fall Information Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 9th at 7:00PM in room 346 at the Curry Student Center. All players interested in playing ultimate this year should attend. Please remember to fill out and bring risk forms and hazing forms. You can find them on the Google group or located here. The Gentlemen's Club would like to congratulate the new officers for the 2009-2010 season. Your elected officials are captains Tim Spittle, Brian Halayko and Bobby Meskill, Prsident Matthew Schwartz, Vice President and Treasurer Dan Hundt, Webmaster Jared Yanofsky, Sergeant at Arms Christopher Ricci and Spring Break Centurions Dan Adams and Tyler Dayton.

As the 2009 Spring Season has come to a close it's clear there are good things in store for the Gentlemen's Club. After a heartbreaking capped loss to Boston University at Sectionals, the Gentlemen look to build on their successes and mistakes from the past season and look forward to next season. As many of you heard, our amazing Coach Ben Faust has left us as he is moving to New York. The Gentlemen's Club would like to thank him for all the time and effort he has put into our team for the past three years and wish him the best. With virtually no seniors on the team and a new coach, the Gentlemen will have a fresh, young look next season.

In other news the Alumni Game has been rescheduled. Look forward for an email soon regarding a new date.

For anyone interested in playing Ultimate next year (2009-2010), make your way to the prospective players tab at the top and sign up for our mailing list. Once you join, you'll be able to get information on important dates and ask any questions you have about the team.

The Northeastern University Gentlemen's Club visited Yale University this past weekend for the annual fall Coffee Cup Tournament with a winning attitude and a chip on their shoulder. Despite trips to New England Regionals and Sectionals the past two years, the Gentlemen's Club was seeded 14th out of 16 teams in what is considered the fall's biggest tournament in the New England Region.
